The Foreman / Equipment Operator will work out of our office in Vancouver, WA and will complete duties related to telecommunications construction assigned under general supervision and be responsible for leading a crew and operating equipment to repair, replace, and install underground telecommunication construction.
Pay : $28 - $38 per hour
What youll do :
- Provide communication and direction to crew members
- Implement and perform steps to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Performing duties of operator and / or laborer
- Operate construction equipment including but not limited to : Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer (Moving equipment / Haul Water), and Vac Truck / Trailer
- Meeting daily production goals
- Conducting daily walk-throughs
- Ensuring DOT documentation
- Monitoring and adhering to all safety processes and procedures
- Maintaining and submitting required reporting
- Directing the set up of the safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
- Other Duties as assigned
