The Lead Child & Family Services Clinician will provide quality clinical treatment to clients as assigned by the Intake Coordinator and/or the Department Director. Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients of varied ages seeking treatment. Complete all documentation and paperwork specific to each department and in compliance with hospital requirements, DMH, The Joint Commission, and insurance regulations. Responsible for managing caseload through consultations, collateral contact, and following up with the client on missed appointments. Maintain Productivity Benchmarks, current level of professional licensure, & CAQH credentialing. The Lead Child & Family Services clinician will also be responsible for some administrative oversight of the child & family services team, including regular case consultation, complaint resolution, caseload and productivity oversight of other clinicians on the team, payroll and other duties as assigned. Major Responsibilities: 1. Salaried clinicians are expected to work a specific number of hours per week which is comprised of clinical hours (billable activity), administrative time (treatment notes, meetings, supervision, etc.), education and training, and program operations. Attendance at staff meetings, supervisions, and the Quarterly All Staff meeting is required. 2. Salaried staff are expected to meet productivity benchmarks and to also contribute to program development; represent the program/hospital at internal and external meetings; help to coordinate certain specialized groups, programs, or activities; and to develop new clinical or didactic skills to enhance treatment or increase staff knowledge. 3. Electronic Medical Record will remain up-to-date, complete, professionally written, and in compliance with regulatory agencies. 4. Contribute to the creation of a professional treatment setting by always showing respect for clients, co-workers, the institution, and being part of developing an atmosphere without gossip and prejudice. 5. Continually seek out information and develop professional skills to work with a broad range of disorders, and expand and share knowledge of resources. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: Graduation and training from an accredited graduate program with a current unrestricted licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration: MA/MSW, PhD (L.I.C.S.W/L.M.H.C/L.M.F.T.). Experience/Skills: Required: 2 years of experience working with mental health and substance abuse disorders in a clinical setting.
