Role Summary
As an RIA Technology Associate, you will work closely with the Director of Investment Operations to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and advisor experience of our firm’s core technology platforms—Orion Advisor and Salentica CRM. You will serve as a subject matter expert for these systems, providing training, troubleshooting, implementation, and ongoing support for our advisory teams. This is a hybrid position located in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Orion Advisor & Salentica CRM Management: Serve as a primary resource for platform optimization, troubleshooting, user training, and best practices.
- Advisor Support: Assist financial advisors in navigating both systems, creating reports, and leveraging platform tools for enhanced client service.
- Technology Training & Onboarding: Educate new advisors and internal staff on efficient use of Orion Advisor and Salentica CRM.
- Data Integrity & System Maintenance: Ensure data accuracy, perform updates, and maintain system configurations.
- Process Optimization: Work with internal teams to improve workflows and maximize automation within Orion and Salentica.
- Project Support: Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and implementation of new features.
- Compliance & Reporting: Generate reports, track system usage, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services technology, preferably in an RIA or Broker/Dealer environment.
- Hands-on experience with Orion Advisor and Salentica CRM (or similar platforms) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and data analytics is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide training for end users.
