We create and distribute original and licensed content, partner with well-known FAST and AVOD streaming platforms, and engage audiences across various social media channels. We're looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Specialist to help grow the reach of our brands and connect with viewers through engaging, dynamic social media strategies.Position Overview : The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of multiple streaming TV and celebrity brands across platforms that include, but are not limited to, YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment, an understanding of the streaming industry, and expertise in crafting, editing, and uploading innovative, engaging content to grow brand awareness, reach, and engagement.Key Responsibilities : Social Media Strategy & Execution :
Develop and implement creative social media strategies tailored to each unique brand, aligned with overall marketing objectives and target audience. Ability to adapt voice, tone, etc. with ease depending on individual brands as well as individual pieces of content.Content Organization :
A significant aspect of this role involves organizing and uploading licensed in and company-owned content for distribution, especially on YouTube. This candidate must be skilled in the backend of YouTube and well-versed in creating optimized thumbnails as well as writing detail-oriented titles and descriptions.Content Creation :
Both independently and collaboratively produce eye-catching graphics, videos, and copy, exercising extreme attention to detail that reflects the voice of each brand while driving growth and engagement.Platform Management :
Oversee daily management of social media accounts, ensuring content is posted timely and consistently across platforms, optimizing for platform-specific best practices.Community Engagement :
Monitor social channels, engage with followers, and foster a positive community for each brand. Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.Analytics & Reporting :
Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for each brand’s social media presence, providing and acting upon actionable insights for continuous improvement.Collaborations & Partnerships :
In collaboration with management, work with influencers, content creators, and partner organizations to amplify brand visibility and reach.Trend Monitoring :
Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, viral content, and shifts in digital culture, applying those insights to maintain relevance for each brand.Campaign Support :
Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns tied to new content launches, events, and seasonal content, ensuring strong online buzz and engagement.Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in film / TV, marketing, communications, or a similar field, plus a minimum of 2-3 years (non-internship) experience in social media management, preferably within the entertainment or streaming industry.Streaming TV Knowledge :
Knowledge of AVOD and FAST streaming channels and partnerships.Strong Communication :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different brand voices. Advanced attention-to-detail and copy-editing skills are a must.Creativity :
Ability to independently develop original, engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.Video Development :
Advanced video editing and developmental skills, including cutting trailers, developing shorts, and filming original content. Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.Analytical, Data-Driven Mindset :
Strong understanding of social media analytics and insights; able to provide professional reports to management and adjust strategies based on data.Platform Knowledge :
Deep knowledge of major and emerging social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter / X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and their best practices.Multitasking :
Ability to manage multiple projects and platforms simultaneously, juggling several calendars.Pop Culture Savvy :
Passion for TV, movies, and digital entertainment, with a good sense of what resonates with today’s audiences.Team Player :
