About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Aerospace Software Expert to work closely with NAVAIR departments, including System/Software Safety and the Cyber Detachment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain databases within application areas, working independently or as part of a team to coordinate database development and improvements.
- Evaluate commercially available, open-source, government-furnished, and contractor-furnished software.
Essential Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum one year of experience in software engineering functions for DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems.
