Job Summary
Configuration Control Specialist who is organized and pays attention to details. Responsible for ECNs, documents, drawings, hardware and software Configuration Management (CM) and control supporting the other departments, primarily C4 QA, Procurement, and Production. The candidate will create, manage, and facilitate the implementation of a CM process to include comprehensive document management system (ADEPT) for all internal and external production-related documents. Projects will be multi-faceted, dependent on the needs of C4, including but not limited to QA AS9100 related tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain ADEPT document control system.
- Coordinate the CM functions, oversee controlled data.
- Establish and implement configuration processes, to include cataloging, maintaining release control, updating, and approval process of controlled document.
- Liaison with customer and subcontractor's configuration control managers.
- Assist all the departments to assure that configuration items (CIs) are documented and verified at acceptance.
- Update all related production books with released documents from customer received engineering changes.
- Update all related production books with current report of document revisions (ML-EDR), as they are released to C4 by our customer.
- Support financial audits by providing requested technical documentation.
- Support trade compliance requests for technical documents that are required for import / export licenses.
- Support quality audits, and document control. With regards to audits, the associate will prepare for and conduct C4 internal audits.
- Define, implement, and maintain CM structures and tools, including ECN metrics.
- Support preparation of ECN data packages and products data packages
