💲 Compensation: $50,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)
C4 Fuels is looking for a highly motivated Job Cost Accountant OR Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller to join our team! We are hiring ONE person for TWO potential opportunities-meaning we are open to applicants with varying levels of experience. Whether you are a detail-oriented accounting professional eager to grow in construction accounting or an experienced senior accountant ready to take the next step, this role could be for you!
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
🔹 Job Cost Accountant - Ideal for candidates with strong construction accounting experience but no degree requirement. 💰 $50,000 - $65,000
🔹 Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller - A higher-level role for experienced candidates with a broader financial background. 💰 $60,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities
✅ Construction Accounting & Job Costing - Manage unitary billing, WIP reporting, over/under billing, and project financial tracking.
✅ Financial Reporting & Compliance - Assist with monthly close, reconciliations, audits, and tax planning.
✅ Budgeting & Forecasting - Support financial statement preparation and long-term planning.
✅ Accounts Receivable & Billing - Process AR invoices, cash receipts, collections, and Sage 100 Contractor setup.
✅ Inventory & Fixed Assets - Track equipment costs and depreciation.
✅ Banking & Third-Party Reporting - Liaise with banks, auditors, and government agencies for financial reporting.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
✔️ Experience with construction accounting, unitary billing, WIP, and over/under billing.
✔️ Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor preferred, or similar accounting software.
✔️ Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
✔️ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-faceted environment.
✔️ Bachelor's degree preferred for Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller, but not required for Job Cost Accountant.
