Summary
We are looking for a Contract Planning Engineer to support our Edge Planning team! As a Contract Planning Engineer your responsibilities will include managing network elements for voice and data networks and monitoring and evaluating capacity utilization for these networks. You may also submit capacity triggers as necessary and forecast and trend bandwidth growth to produce capacity triggers for bandwidth relief. In addition, you will develop plans to augment capacity relief as needed.
You will plan and design new projects in support of Sales requests providing customer service requests high-level cost estimates to be used for calculation of customer offerings by other financial organization and sales support.
As a Contract Planning Engineer Your Responsibilities will include :
- Triggering projects utilizing the most feasible, practical and economical means
- Performing engineering work and applied research, development and design of new projects, to include design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of equipment and devices
- Skills in planning and / or engineering
- Analyzing complex local and wide area network systems and / or customer network environment.
- May act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for complex costing examples.
