Description
We are seeking a skilled security toll implementation engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for implementing cutting-edge security tools focused on compliance, application security and network monitoring. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the tool effectively aligns with regulatory stands while providing comprehensive oversight of network activities, You will play a crucial part in safeguarding our systems, mitigating risk, and enhancing our security posture.
Essential functions :
- Implement and configure security tools tailored to compliance, network monitoring and application security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand regulatory standards and ensure the tool meets compliance needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tool implementation or performance
- Provide training and documentation to internal teams on the effective use of the security tools.
- Performs a lead role in promotion of security awareness programs, assessing gaps and implementing solutions.
- Responsible for the end-to-end completion of security requests.
- Creates or maintains application scripts and uses application specific tools to create or manage application security.
- Creates and coordinates completion of detailed security reports to fulfill audit, management or business owner requirements.
- Accountable for follow-up of all security work requests including collaborating with other IT areas to ensure timely completion / resolution and obtainment of appropriate approval levels.
- Interfaces with users to understand new capabilities, implement procedures, ensure security procedures have been communicated properly and are being adhered to.
- Provides input to drive process improvements.
- Works closely with business areas and IT partners on troubleshooting, pre-implementation activities and to assess application security.
- Maintains and creates operational procedures and maintains Security Knowledge Base.
Job Duties :
Required Experience :
3-5 year of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience within IT Security
Required Education : HS Diploma or GED
Good to have Certification :
COMPTIA Security or equivalent
