LAB / FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities Laboratory and Facilities Participate in Pilot Line operations to build batteries through a documented process. Work independently and as part of a group to complete projects and tasks for an on time delivery. Interface with Product and Design Engineering to optimize existing designs, chemistries and delivery methods. Support Supply Chain activities as needed for Raw Materials and M&E qualification processes. Follow safety protocols and ensure best practices are utilized Ensure testing results are captured in company approved software and secure storage. Ensure captured data is properly filed and accessible for future reference and retrieval. Coordinate and manage cross functional initiatives that will run across multi-disciplinary projects that emphasize problem solving and critical thinking skills. Qualifications/Skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Ability to patiently and accurately follow documented processes Good organizational skills and attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with staff Ability to think on your feet and come up with solutions to challenging situations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management and Analytics software Experience with CAD software and ERP a plus Education and Experience Requirements Minimum GED or HS Diploma. Experience in a manufacturing setting with increasing role/responsibilities with an emphasis on “hands on” approach is a great substitute for formal education.
