C5T is looking to hire a Junior Developer. This position will assist with the documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. May assist with test procedures to ensure software system requirements are met.
- Gathers information to support software project management. Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.
- Supports software research and development projects.
- Troubleshoots basic software issues. Works under close supervision.
- Follows company software standards and processes.
- With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages.
- Develops, documents and maintains software design by applying established methods and practices.
- Performs troubleshooting of defects. Collaborates with others to propose solutions to problems.
- May gather and organize data for use in plans, schedules and estimates.
- May assist in the specification and maintenance of software requirements. Receives guidance and instruction from more experienced engineers.
- May integrate and compile software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment.
- May document deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.
- May perform troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May gather and document data on subject matter.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Secret Level Security Clearance - The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Desired: Have some experience in creation of error free software code under the direction and supervision of senior software development managers. Some experience in windows and web development environments. Some experience writing software documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must.
- All C5T team members must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with our customers and team members. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities are a must.
- Knowledge: Limited use and application of job principles, theories, and concepts.
- Problem Solving: Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
- Discretion: Follows directions for routine work under close supervision; receives detailed instructions for specific assignments.
- Impact: Contributes to the completion of routine tasks. Failure to achieve results has minimal effect to schedules and programs.
- Liaison: Interacts primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel within the group.
