C5T is seeking a Lead Cyber Engineer / Deputy Program Manager to assume a key leadership position for a team supporting complex mission essential capabilities for our clients. This team is responsible for providing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support, IT security, administration, and expertise for the Global Transportation Planning (GTP), Groups Operational Passenger (GOPAX), and Voyage Calculator (VC) systems . This program's primary customer is United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), with headquarters located on Scott AFB .
The successful candidate will leverage their strong leadership and communication skills, along with extensive knowledge and experience in systems security, installation, configuration, and maintenance to design, implement, and manag e the security aspects of supported information systems, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and policies . In addition, this candidate will support the program manager as deputy program manager to ensure continuity when the Program Manager is temporarily unavailable .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Leads team cybersecurity activities ( risk assessment, threat identification, and mitigation ) to ensure ongoing compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) and NIST SP 800-53 standards.
- Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and related accreditation documents to achieve Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Ensures system security measures comply with established procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Verif ies minimum security requirements are in place for all applications.
- Ensure s application of security patches for commercial products integrated into system design meet the timelines dictated by the management authority for the intended operational environment.
- Ensure s compliance with USTRANSCOM cybersecurity guidelines, providing secure application development, encryption technologies, and secure network protocols.
- Sustain s , create s , review s and update s system documentation in accordance with appropriate standards .
- Prepare s a Software Release package for each software change package and deliver s it at the time of software delivery for all releases.
- Supports the Program Manager (PM) in leading the contract team to success for both the customer and the company
- Provides technical guidance to other members of the contract team.

Salary : $115,000 - $140,000
