C5T is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager, to assume a key leadership position for a team supporting complex mission essential capabilities for our clients. This team is responsible for providing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support, IT security, administration, and expertise for the Global Transportation Planning (GTP), Groups Operational Passenger (GOPAX), and Voyage Calculator (VC) systems. The primary customer for this program is the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), with headquarters located on Scott AFB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading C5T's team to delight the customer and ensure overall contract success. They will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and management of the contract. They will serve as the primary interface with the customer representatives, as well as C5T and partner personnel performing the work. They will use established PMP principles, as well as C5T corporate procedures and policies to lead their team to success for the customer and the company.
This position is onsite at Scott AFB, IL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Leads the project team to achieve success for the client and C5T.
- Works closely with the customer, C5T corporate leadership, and key partners to plan, execute, and manage performance for all deliverables across all phases of the contract.
- Leads business and technical staff of complex IT projects. for the successful planning, execution, and management of the contract
- Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage.
- Determines the budget and time required for each goal, as well as the project as a whole in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Monitors progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Meets regularly with customer and key stakeholders to formulate and review plans and accomplish tasks for deliverable items.
- Identifies, measures, and mitigates potential risks to contract success.
- Supervises and develops contract personnel at multiple locations.
- Reviews work products, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Regularly provides reports and updates on project status and issues to key stakeholders (company and customer)
- Identifies and resolves issues during project execution.
- Assigns and manages personnel work schedules.
- Ensures conformance with program schedules and budgets.
- Understands, communicates, and enforces work standards in keeping with C5T and customer policies.
- Implements and monitors training of personnel.
