Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Reporting to the Manager Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this is an entry level position for individuals currently pursuing licensure in Radiology Technology. This position is responsible for clerical duties and patient care under the supervision of Imaging staff, utilizing SAMC computer devices and information systems programs as necessary by departmental requirements. This position is responsible for directing patient flow, greeting, escorting, and transporting patients within the Imaging department. Pay Range: 35.61 - 49.85 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Preparation for American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure according to ARRT guidelines is required (applicant must be enrolled in their final year of study in an accredited program of Radiologic Technology). 3. Prior completion of clinical internship in Radiologic Technology is required. 4. ARRT and California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure is required within six (6) months of graduation from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology. 5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 6. Ability to communicate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, and the public and other health care providers is required. 7. Projecting a professional image to patients, physicians, the public, and other health care providers is required. 8. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service is required.
