The Department
The CAA Brand Consulting Account Manager, Tech Integration will play a key role for one of our largest Brand Consulting clients, a leader in telecom. The Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management and activation of marquee sports and entertainment properties in the brand’s portfolio, specific to their B2B and product integration initiatives. The candidate will interface daily with the client’s sponsorships and technology teams, and will work cross functionally with internal/external vendors, properties and agencies. The candidate should have a keen interest in tech, telecommunications, innovation and monitoring tech partnership industry trends that will help lead to developing creative activation concepts to bring impactful experiences to life for fans of all types.
Responsibilities:
Deliver best-in-class, business-driving experiential opportunities, ideas, and activation for brand clients
Ensures the most forward-thinking, breakthrough ideas and activations
Contributes by helping keep our finger on the pulse of the latest developments in the Experiential Marketing space by identifying and implementing the newest cutting edge technologies
Leads CAA’s efforts in developing and maintaining relationships with world-class vendors, fabricators & technology partners
Participate in and contribute to project planning/development meetings and internal/external status meetings.
Work cross-functionally to ensure the highest quality and smoothest operation of the overall production – from brief, through pre-production and onsite execution.
Help identify appropriate outside vendors, (per event scope/type), request and negotiate bids, select, hire and manage vendors & vendor contracts, payments and deliverables; monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
Works with Account Service Teams to deliver breakthrough ideas that deliver against client objectives
Supports on all event production technology needs to ensure world-class execution
Collaborates on project-based brand client experiential initiatives from start to finish (briefing to execution)
Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure consistent & comprehensive communication
Facilitate creative approval process (i.e. renderings, signage, POS, etc.)
Develop & manage timelines, run of show, budgets & reconciliation
On-site event logistics management & execution
Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams
Ensure all agency protocols are being followed including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, etc.
Utilize agency resources appropriately and efficiently
Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
Qualifications:
BA or BS strongly preferred or equivalent experience
5 years of relevant experience in brand partnerships, marketing or product integration
Experience developing sponsor activation strategies, particularly B2B and technology focused initiatives
Tech product integration project management experience
Experience managing and working with technology vendors and partners
Proven track record of delivering or implementing projects on time
Ability to travel and be on site at events or property/venue meetings
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
Expertise in managing projects and budgets
Excellent presentation skills
Previous experience with managing and developing junior staff members
Sustain relationships with clients and grow the business
Understanding of the telecom industry, latest developments and how it impacts the sports, entertainment and lifestyle space
Technology enthusiast
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in telecom, technology field or technical marketing role
Previous experience at a premier sports or entertainment agency, property, or brand are a plus
Working knowledge and understanding of advanced and emerging technologies, telecommunications, wireless services, IoT or other similar categories
Ability to combine technical knowledge with marketing skillset to effectively communicate ideas and information to varying stakeholder groups
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and develop interpersonal relationships with multiple stakeholder groups
Interest in developing innovative applications for technology in sports and entertainment
Strategic mindset to see the big picture with executional experience to implement programs
Experience analyzing new opportunities with both qualitative and quantitative approaches
Previous experience working with, or knowledge of, television broadcasters or other content producers is a plus
Location
The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires three days per week on-site at our Seattle offices.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $78,000 - $115,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
