The Department 

The Golf group specializes in helping corporations leverage the power and reach of golf through sponsorship and brand activation, primarily through events, VIP hospitality, players and media relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to grow within a team.  

The Role 

The Account Professional has direct client servicing experience and a track record of thinking one step ahead to best support executives, co-workers, and clients. The role will support across aspects of account management for one or multiple CAA Golf clients, working across events and hospitality, media, brand management, project management, industry research and other sports marketing-related tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support account leaders across full scope of services

• Work directly with the client’s executive team

• Hospitality and event management i.e. book travel, gifting, plan dinners 

• Serve as first point of contact on the ground for escalation

• Manage guest program communications and registration leading up to events and the onsite check-in process

• Support account team with media planning and tracking

• Liaise with creative and analytics teams on client reports

• Manage budgeting for a segment of the client’s business

• Serve as liaison with golf courses, event venues and other staff on behalf of client

• Oversee onsite volunteers/brand ambassadors

• Manage photography and video shoots

• Float to other accounts and attend events during slow seasons as needed

• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

• Provide any additional general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed

• Monitor industry trends and provide regular updates to client on relevant topics

 

Qualifications:

• 2 years direct client servicing experience

• 2 years negotiating with vendors 

• High level organization skills

• Analytical with creative problem solving abilities

• Anticipates needs

• Support and service mentality

Location

This role is based in our Jacksonville, FL office.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $60,000 - $70,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
