General Definition of Work
The Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF) champions the integration of technology in educational settings, aligning efforts with the ISTE Standards, effective pedagogy, and current educational best practices. This role involves leading, supporting, and pioneering the adoption of digital tools and learning models to enhance instruction, student achievement, and data-driven decision-making. The ITF provides training and support to staff on technology integration, assists with identifying, acquiring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network products, and supports the implementation of system and building-level technology plans.

Essential Functions
- Provide guidance on responsible and ethical use of technology, including digital citizenship
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration among students, educators, and the global community through digital platforms.
- Foster global awareness and cultural understanding through technology-enhanced
- Build relationships with administrators, staff, and the broader school community to support digital learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with administrative and teaching staff to cultivate and implement a strategic vision for digital learning.
- Align technology initiatives with ISTE Standards and the North Carolina Digital Learning
- Spearhead initiatives that integrate computational thinking and digital citizenship across the
- Forecast and anticipate future technology needs to support long-term instructional Aid in the development, evaluation, and enhancement of technology-enriched learning
- Support testing and benchmark assessments by ensuring effective use of technology
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of instructional technology practices and make data-driven recommendations.
Team Specific Responsibilities
- Understanding of all Data Platforms available in Cabarrus County Schools and correlating data that is available. A few of these are listed below:

- Mastery Connect
- Amplify
- Accountability Spreadsheet (in house)
- iReady Diagnostic
- Review resources and submissions through the Learn Platform to ensure compliance and effective integration. Collaborate with school leadership and educators to leverage data to inform instructional decisions, personalize learning experiences, and monitor student progress towards mastery of state standards and learning Manage, analyze, and utilize student data in order to assist school teams in making core instructional decisions.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or related Master’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally exert up to 10 pounds (device management)
- Perform tasks requiring speaking, hearing, using hands, and repetitive
- Primarily sit; occasionally stand, walk, stoop, or kneel
- Utilize standard vision, vocal communication, and hearing to interact and perceive
- Prepare and analyze data, operate equipment, and observe students
- Occasionally travel within the district or to support schools off site Work in a moderately noisy environment, such as an a school setting
Special Requirements
- Must hold or have the ability to attain a current valid North Carolina Teacher’s License in any teaching area. Must hold or have the ability to attain a North Carolina Teaching Endorsement in K-12 Computer Education or Instructional Technology Specialist-Computers.
