Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Concord, NC for a Detention Officer. The Detention Officer will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of inmates within the detention facility, conducting regular inmate headcounts, monitoring inmate activities, and ensuring compliance with all detention center policies and procedures. Additional duties include booking and processing incoming detainees, conducting searches, and assisting in transportation of inmates as needed.

Qualifications
- Experience in Detention, Physical Security, Criminal Justice, and Law Enforcement
- Strong knowledge of Public Safety practices and procedures
- Excellent observation and monitoring skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks
- High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant training or certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in a detention or law enforcement role is preferred
