Hours : Between the hours of 7 : 15 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Processing Assistant performs a variety of customer service, clerical, and office assistance tasks including data entry and word processing duties associated with the dental program clinical and community activities.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Greet and register patients and visitors
- Interview clients and obtain financial information
- Maintain dental appointment schedule
- Provide orientation to new patients
- Maintain working knowledge of NC Medicaid, NC Tracks, iDentalSoft Software, and common insurance plans
- Ensure that data is entered into computer system accurately
Education / Experience : High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree or higher preferred. DA I or DA II preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Experience in a dental and / or medical office preferred. Experience with dental and / or medical software and NC Tracks preferred.
