Hours : 8 : 00 - 5 : 00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The responsibilities of the Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) will be to promote public health through education, surveillance, consultation and enforcement of state environmental health laws and regulations. The EHS will protect public health and safety through preventative measures designed to identify and control the spread of diseases. The EHS will evaluate environmental health conditions through the observation, inspection and grading of facilities such as (but not limited to) restaurants, meat markets, food and drink stands, institutions, school cafeterias, residential care / group homes and push carts / mobile food units.

Education / Experience :
License : Valid NC driver's license (driving record suitable for driving Health Alliance owned vehicles)
