Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Oncology Pharmacy Tech to work alongside our ECCC Pharmacy.
The purpose of the Pharmacy Technician for Oncology is to assist pharmacist in provision of patient-centered services to prepare and deliver medications in the cancer center or oncology inpatient treatment for optimal outcomes. This position is considered to be the primary technician staff in the ECCC to prepare chemotherapeutic agents in addition to the non-chemotherapeutic medications. In the absence of pharmacy management, staff or clinical pharmacists will serve in a supervisory capacity. All registrations/licenses required for this position must be kept current at all times/ renewed prior to expiration.
Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- West Virginia Board Technician Registration required.
- CPhT (National Pharmacy Certification) required.
