Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Decorate cakes and other baked goods with artistic flair to meet customer specifications.
- Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adjust ingredients based on availability or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle food products safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and packaging for freshness.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers regarding their orders and preferences.
- Assist in catering orders as needed, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of baked items.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and cake decorating skills.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and decorating tasks.
