What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer/Salesperson position at Cabinet IQ of Aurora?
Purpose Statement:
Cabinet IQ of Aurora is searching for a talented and creative Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Designer to join the Cabinet IQ business. While Cabinet IQ is a newer franchise to the area, it has a proven track record of providing 5-star client experience in Texas, Alabama, Florida and several other states, specializing in design and sales through client education, accurate measure/design and client follow through. Cabinet IQ of Denver has already opened a location in the Park Meadows area and Cabinet IQ of Aurora will be the next franchise to open in the Denver area over the Summer. This role includes design and sales, requiring commitment to customer experience excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Daily maintenance of current customers
- Pursues new business
- Carefully listens to client needs to define the overall design while offering creative options
- Ensures that they are representing Cabinet IQ products and services accurately
- Updates and maintains all contacts, including address, phone, email, and all notes using CRM
- Follow up on inbound leads within 2 business days of “New Lead” and qualifies them
- Understands client design requests and works to build outstanding designs within the client's specified budget
- Provide in-home consultations to obtain measurements while offering expertise.
- Ability to build rapport with local clientele and genuinely enjoys working on their behalf
- Provides 100% accurate designs and proposals and follow up within a timely manner to learn about and overcome purchasing hesitations
- Orders cabinets and countertops in a timely manner and sets realistic timelines and expectations with the clients
- Personifies the highest level of honesty and integrity both internally and externally throughout the entire sales cycle
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills to effectively assist clients and address their needs.
- Pays close attention to details and hones problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively
- 10 years proven experience with Design 2020 software with a portfolio of previously completed projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- A degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, but not required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
