About This Role:
This Phlebotomist position plays a vital role in our Laboratory Department, working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results. Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on neonates through geriatric populations.
- Collect and process blood samples for testing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay current with industry developments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical assistant or phlebotomy certification preferred.
