The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, microbiology, or a related field, with experience in infection control, public health, or a clinical setting. They will be responsible for conducting audits, analyzing data, and identifying trends to inform improvement initiatives.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position (20 hours a week), typically Monday-Friday, day shift. A benefits package is available.

- Policy Development and Review: Develop and review infection prevention policies and protocols in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Education: Provide training and resources to healthcare staff on infection control practices, including hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Consultation: Act as a consultant for clinical staff regarding infection prevention strategies and interventions.
- Outbreak Management: Investigate and manage infection outbreaks by coordinating response efforts and implementing control measures.
