Overview
CabinetRX, the premier Cabinet Refinishing and Refacing company in Des Moines, IA is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a sales associate. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with other members of the team to deliver leads and close those leads into booked business.
This position will be a full time employee of our company and will be a hybrid between Inside and Outside Sales. Sales will also be both B2B and B2C.
Responsibilities (What You Could Be Doing)
Since this is a hybrid role, you may be working on any or many of these tasks in a single day and may be required at times to switch gears quickly from one task to another.
- Meet with clients in their homes or on zoom video chat calls to identify their needs and preferences.
- Call cold and warm potential clients on the phone to develop them into paying customers.
- Identify additional needs, products, and services that could be provided during sales calls and to our existing clients.
- Meet with potential business clients (such as contractors, remodelers, interior decorators, and real estate agents) to develop them into leads and paying customers at their place of business, or on zoom video chat calls to identify their needs and preferences for new custom cabinets, new custom doors, cabinet refinishing, and cabinet refacing.
- Identify new customer industries.
- Develop quotations for clients.
- Attend local networking meetings within the business community to build business customers.
- Follow-up with clients on quotations to close the sale.
- Log all information into our CRM.
- This is not a position where you will be sitting in an office making calls most of the time. Regular driving and meeting in-person with potential clients will be required. Some nights and weekends may be required, also, depending on when clients and potential clients can meet.
- We will provide a company car, but you will need reliable transportation to get to the warehouse/office to meet with the owner to discuss daily tasks. The company car is not for personal use.
- Be willing to add to your responsibilities as your role and our customer base grows.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience required.
- Must have at least 2 years experience in sales with a proven track record in either B2C or B2B.
- Good communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with technology on various platforms, such as MS Office, Zoom, Google suite, CRMs, etc.
- Knowledge of home improvement services is preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience dealing with contractors, remodelers or prior working experience in the contracting/remodeling space preferred, but not required.
Pay will be a Bi-Weekly draw (TBD) commission and we’re willing to discuss different options. Based on weekly pay plus commission, we estimate a Sales Associate could make between $80,000 and $100,000 per year.
