Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Granite team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the saw, CNC and edging machines daily, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, programming, and machining processes, as well as the ability to work with precision tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Granite Saw machine, CNC machines, Edge Machine
- Fabricate parts according to specifications using hand tools and machining techniques.
- Program machinery as needed to ensure accurate production runs.
- Conduct regular inspections of machines to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ability to drive and operate forklift
- Dealing daily with granite and quartz slabs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using hand tools and basic math skills for measurements.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
