SOUTHWIND BUILDING PRODUCTS has an opening for LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR.
The Lift Truck Operator will be responsible for unloading pallets from trailers to the proper storage location, relocation pallets from warehouse to workstation or other locations in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES
- Unload pallets from trailer
- Transport the pallets to indicate location
- Pulling full pallet orders and transport the order to shipping
- Replenish cut stock area
- Relocated pallets from warehouse to other departments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and equipment
- Operate forklift following safety guidelines
- Communicate with Lead or Supervisor any damage product
- Assist with cycle-counts and inventory accuracy
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Works with minimal level of supervision
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent attendance is required
- Forklift experience required
- Strong math and communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting: 50 pounds maximum lifted. Lowest point - Ground Level, Highest point – 4 ½ feet. Frequency: Frequent. Object lifted: LVT Carton.
Carrying: 50 pounds maximum carried. Maximum distance carried: 20 yards. Object carried: LVT Carton.
Push/Pull: Maximum force pushed/pulled: 50 pounds. Maximum distance moved: 5 feet. Object pushed/pulled: LVT Carton.
Reaching: Occasional reaching with negligible weight.
Climbing: Frequent climbing on and off lift truck is required
Posture/Movements: Frequent sitting and standing is required. Frequent stooping and bending are required.
Maximum continuous walking required 5 minutes.
