What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Claims Analyst position at Cabinets To Go, LLC?
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate product claims to identify root cause and determine if credit should be issued based upon nature of complaint, product warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from sales team and dealer.
Negotiate claims and provide satisfactory resolution for customers while creating the fairest resolution to all parties. Negotiate labor with dealer/installers according to company policies.
Work with internal/external customers when replacement material is needed. Enter and trace replacement orders and effectively communicate cause of failure to management team.
Process return authorizations and credit memos on products returned according to company return process. Report return damages to freight claims analyst and update inventory accordingly.
Maintain claim data files with claim related documents for audit purposes.
Communicate claims status with both internal & external clients with a high level of professionalism.
Back up technical support via calls/emails pertaining to install questions, job stops, warranty/product spec inquiries.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
