Job Description:
As a General Laborer at Cabinetworks Group, you will be an active member of our department, participating in safety programs, daily meetings, and taking direction from supervisors and leads. You will be responsible for lifting up to 50 pounds, working on your feet, and reading production paperwork to ensure smooth workflow documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have prior woodworking or construction experience, attention to detail, excellent team skills, and the ability to read a tape measure. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be 18 years old by date of hire.
Work Environment:
Our facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift (6:15am-2:45pm), 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:15pm), and 3rd shift (9:30pm-6:00am). As a General Laborer, you will be expected to stand and move throughout the day, using air-powered tools and other equipment.
Physical Requirements:
The job requires medium physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. You will also be exposed to noise levels and use equipment that includes air-powered tools and power tools.
