JOB SUMMARY:
Provide support in the administration of Human Resources programs, policies and practices.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Explain company personnel policies, compensation, benefits, and procedures to Team Members and job candidates.
- Provide support to the hiring process as needed including posting jobs, sourcing, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, sending job offers, processing drug screens, and background checks.
- Schedules and participate in new hire orientation to include helping new hires complete all onboarding activities.
- Enter and maintain information in Workday and Kronos.
- Assist Team Members relating to activities such as changes to benefits, demographics, password, etc. Upload all documents relating to the Team Members employment.
- Leads the Team Member Activities Committee. Works with HR in coordinating employee appreciation/recognition events and programs.
- Work with HR Manager and HR Generalist to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist with annual benefit enrollment, including answering Team Member questions on benefit changes. Assist Team Member as needed.
- Assist Supervisors/Team Members with Kronos activity.
- Administrative duties as required by the HR Department.
- Assist HR Manager in processes and procedures as needed.
- Assist in providing support to production management.
- Associates Degree and 2 years of HR Administration.
- Must demonstrate basic knowledge and skills in staffing, benefits/compensation, payroll, employee/labor relations, and HR compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with employment law, including FMLA, ADA, WC, and COBRA.
- Adept computer skills to include (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS).
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work needed hours to assure successful team results and to assure closure of team assignments.
- Must be comfortable working with all levels of management.
- Two years of related experience in human resources/manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with Workday.
- Experience working with Kronos.
