JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all aspects of corporate and multi-site quality programs to ensure successful attainment of AOP goals and objectives.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership in Quality and Improvement: Develop and execute comprehensive quality and continuous improvement strategies that align with multi-site operational goals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Quality Management System Optimization: Lead the refinement, implementation, and oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure seamless integration across all organizational levels and facilities.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Champion lean methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Kaizen, to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Integration with Business Systems: Establish robust connections between quality initiatives and the CabinetWorks Management Operating System (COS), ensuring alignment with broader business processes and objectives.
- Product Lifecycle Quality Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced quality control plans for new product introductions and manage quality assurance processes for existing products, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Data-Driven Quality Insights: Utilize advanced analytics and SPC to interpret quality data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement and strategic planning.
- Cost Optimization and Savings Initiatives: Develop and monitor programs to control quality costs while identifying and documenting opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
- Cultural Transformation in Quality: Promote a quality-centric mindset through transparent communication, employee engagement initiatives, and structured training programs that empower teams at all levels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ISO Lead Auditor, and ASQ certifications (e.g., CMQ/OE or CQA) preferred.
- Experience: 8–10 years in quality management
- Quality Systems Expertise: Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and ability to develop and maintain QMS across multiple locations.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Proven experience in regulated industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices) and tools like SPC, APQP, and FMEA.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated success in driving Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives across diverse teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle/Unidata), and quality tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and reporting abilities for key metrics like scrap rates, defect rates, and customer complaints.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster partnerships, and drive a quality-focused culture.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to oversee multiple sites, with experience in remote team management tools.
