Internship Overview: Cabinetworks is looking for sales interns to join us for Summer 2025. As one of the largest kitchen cabinet manufacturers in the United States, we are excited to offer the opportunity for you to gain real-world sales experience with our teams.
You will have an opportunity to experience the different channels we use in our go-to-market strategy, including inside and outside sales, ecommerce, and sales operations. You will spend time in front of customers, get exposure to our marketing, brand, and manufacturing teams, including a trip to a manufacturing site.
As an intern you will also own a capstone project, helping us solve real-world sales questions. You will work with a mentor to design and run the project, presenting your findings to our executives at the end of the program.
We are looking for interns that are interested in a career in sales. Typical degree programs include business, sales, marketing, ecommerce, or communications, however those specific programs are not required. Any experience with MS Office or CRM software is a plus. Previous classes in writing, sales, or public speaking are a plus.
Candidates must be local to our Livonia, MI headquarters. We work a hybrid schedule (Mon – Thu in office / Fri remote).

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in various sales channels, including inside and outside sales, e-commerce, and sales operations.
- Collaborate with marketing, branding, and manufacturing teams to gain cross-functional experience.
- Spend time in customer-facing roles to develop interpersonal and sales skills.
- Take part in a site visit to a manufacturing facility to understand the production process and its impact on sales strategies.
- Develop and execute a capstone project addressing real-world sales challenges, with mentorship support.
- Present capstone project findings and recommendations to company executives.
- Use and gain proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software for daily tasks and project work.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Communications, or a related field or have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Communications, or a related field in 2025.
- Interest in pursuing a career in sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Local to Livonia, MI, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule (Monday–Thursday in-office, Friday remote).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively.
