Job Description
We are looking for a Whitewood Deluxe Builder to join our team!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and sanding Accessory and Deluxe parts for white wood products prior to finish.
- Examine parts for quality defects and repair/replace as needed.
- Utilize machining and distressing techniques for special and custom parts.
- Saw use is expected (table saw, vertical saw, power feed, miter saw).
- Cleaning and 6s tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read All move tickets and produce product correctly before sending it to finishing department.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- This position will require lifting, standing and walking throughout the department.
- Excellent attendance is necessary.
- Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed and be detail oriented.
- Overtime as production schedule requires.
- Strong focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to use various saw equipment.
- Ability to read tape measure and use effectively.
- Need understanding of product flow to make sure correct units are being produced first.
- Willingness to learn additional tasks.
- Must adhere to company values.
Hours: From 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Monday - Friday with occasional mandatory Saturday overtime
Pay Range: $23.00 - $29.00
