FTTH Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will work with in-house crews, subcontractors, managing the project budget, managing the project schedule, and assuring quality of work completed. The responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the work of contractors and contract correspondences
• Manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process
• Manage multi-contractor projects as well as contractor compliance with project documents
• Work with supervisors to complete project deadlines on time
• Provide detailed progress reports
• Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance
• Ensure that all projects under the position's direction are administered in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety and industry standards.
• Progressively increasing job knowledge and ability to learn and apply new skills

Qualifications: All positions require participation in the federally compliant FMSCA drug and alcohol testing program. This includes both pre-employment and ongoing random testing.

• 10 years plus demonstrated experience in Construction Services required
• Project management experience
• Fiber optic construction experience
• Must have proficient, working knowledge with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, and computer operating systems
• Desire to learn the construction project management field and grow with a company.
• Professionally represent the company to the owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, government officials and inspectors
• Detail oriented and driven
• Very strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
• Perform duties independently by exercising discretion and sound judgment
• Ability to read and interpret area maps
