What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mini Excavator Operator position at Cable South Construction LLC?
The experienced Mini Operator is responsible for safely operating excavation equipment under the direction of the Foreman.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate mini excavator safely and efficiently. Set hand holes. Safely load and move dirt, rocks, vegetation and materials. Inspect and maintain job equipment. Effectively communicate with all personnel. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Clean up job area and equipment at the end of each day. Perform other job duties as assigned. EQUIPMENT OPERATION/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position involves work requiring the employee to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and less force frequently to move objects. Physical activity related to this position may include stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
