The Payroll Administrator position resides in the Accounting and Finance department at CableLabs. This department is responsible for managing, recording, and reporting all financial transactions within the organization. Compensation: The salary range is $62,660 - $72,700. This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to 15% of base salary.

What You’ll Do
- Perform the end-to-end Semi-Monthly and off-cycle payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.
- Maintain accurate funding of external employee accounts (401k and HSA)
- Utilize Paycom to manage payroll operations, including data input, system maintenance, auditing and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and company policies.
- Manage employee records related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, benefits deductions, and tax updates.
- Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage Garnishments and Child Support Orders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and provide excellent support to employees.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure alignment on payroll-related matters such as benefits, compensation, and audits.
- Lead efforts to streamline payroll processes, implement system enhancements, and ensure data integrity.
- Stay current on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Handle year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting. 401k audits and NDT testing
What Is a Must Have:
- 3 years of payroll processing experience, with at least 1 year using a large-scale payroll platform.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
