Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any customer needs promptly and professionally.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the cash register.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise during service.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Excellent sales skills with a focus on upselling techniques.
- Basic cash handling skills and familiarity with retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong mathematical skills for managing bills and payments accurately.
- Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
