What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Program Aide position at Cabot Christian School?
Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate person to join our team. This would be a split shift position; the support person would help with lunch/recess as well as aftercare and janitorial. Approximate working hours would be 10 am to 12:30 pm and 4 pm to 6:30 pm Mon-Fri. Candidate must be able to pass a background check. Experience not required, but pay is based on experience/certifications.
Duties
- Help prep lunches as needed and serve students during lunch period
- Monitor students at lunch tables as needed
- Monitor students during lunch as needed
- Help with lunch inventory to make sure we have supplies needed each week
- Light janitorial after lunch/recess daily
- Monitor students from 4 pm until 6 pm (or until last student leaves - sometimes earlier) during aftercare and oversee basic activites for students (snacks, coloring, etc)
- Perform janitorial duties after last student leaves (approx 30 minutes)
Skills
- Experience in childcare is a plus
- Coachable and teachable spirit
- Candidate must profess Christianity and demonstrate a Christ-like lifestyle
- Flexibility, adaptability, and open to changes as needed
- Janitorial experience
