Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This is a part-time position and the hours are flexible around the candidate's personal schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct thorough custodial duties in commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable.
- Maintain and care for facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Carry out floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
- Assist with industrial cleaning processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles, preferably in commercial settings.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively.
