What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technician PRN position at Cabot Emergency Hospital?
We are your Hometown ER & Hospital. We utilize the same cutting edge equipment and technology found in a modern hospital, including bedside ultrasound, digital radiology, CT scan, MRI and a comprehensive clinical laboratory.
We are seeking dynamic people to join our team. If your are CT X Ray Tech, then we are looking for you. The CT/X-Ray Tech responsible for assessing patients and safely preforming routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols and has certification in Radiography. In addition, the technologist has been trained successfully and registered in the additional modality and performs the following duties.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one-year related experience and/or training.
Specialized Training:
- 1 year experience in each modality, preferred
- 1 year experience in ER Hospital Setting
- Certificates and Licenses: ARRT and BLS American Heart Association.
Multi-modality Technologist requires certification in two (2) or more of the following modalities: Radiology (X-Ray), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or completion of cross-training program in that modality.
