Immediate openings for Operations Associates at our Hillsboro manufacturing/production plant. This is a direct hire position with daily/weekly overtime pay!
Job Description
Operates equipment used to manufacture products. Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keeps accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Performs in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications. Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates equipment used to manufacture CMC Pads products.
- Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities
- Produce, package and prepare CMC products for shipment.
- Receive raw material and containers.
- Perform required data entry and record keeping.
- Perform required quality testing and inspections
- Maintain safe and clean working environment
- Immediately address any deviation to CMC values, procedures, policies, etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.
- Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
- Performs in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications.
- Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.
- Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation)
Required Qualifications
Technical– Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling.
Behavioral– Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills.
Computer - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes; experienced in ERP systems data entry.
Education– High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
Experience– 1 to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to work the required shift with occasional shift variations and overtime assignments
Able to work a 12-hour shift (on your feet a lot of the time) and routinely lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to read and write in the English language.

Work Hours & Schedule:
12 hour shifts on a compressed work week. Interviewing candidates for Front Half Days (Sunday – Tuesday, rotating Wednesdays) 5:30am - 6:00pm
