Job Summary: The Compliance Administrator will manage communication between the Compliance Consultant and Employee Benefits team with a focus on auditing for accountability in the area of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Compliance Consultant to develop the planning and communication for all compliance related components of employee benefits
- Communicate with the Employee Benefits team and monitor the team’s progress and completion of compliance tasks and deadlines
- Identify and address team members who do not meet compliance milestones and deadlines, work to correct deficiencies and report uncorrected deficiencies and other issues to the Compliance Consultant.
- Review and edit compliance communications
- Responsible for managing the client-facing compliance communications which are sent out via HubSpot. Communications relate to compliance matters, such as reminders, legislative alerts, and webinar invitations.
- Develop a process to ensure timely delivery of accurate communications to clients, including:
- Prepare delivery email communication in HubSpot for review and approval by the Consultant
- Drive the review/editing process and push out communication materials
- Save communications and maintain current compliance materials on the server
- Maintain distribution contact list for compliance communications
- Partner with the Compliance Consultant on presentations (via Zoom or in person) to clients and internal team, including editing, finalizing presentation materials, and managing the Zoom call “behind the scenes”
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 5 years of Employee Benefits experience in a brokerage setting with Middle Market and Large Group Clients is required. Health Care legal experience is preferred
- Strong reading comprehension skills with an interest in the legal aspect of employee benefits
- Poficient in online communications platforms, such as HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc. is preferred
- Communication skills: Proficient knowledge of grammar and formatting for review and editing and presentation preparation such as creating or reviewing Power Point slides
- Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, solve problems, offer solutions, and make process improvements
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects
- Outstanding customer service skills, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Skilled at strategic project planning including extended time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
