Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the stop loss claims process to include preparation & filing in a timely and accurate manner while remaining accountable for their outcome
- Responsible for reporting to include Stop Loss, Actuarial and Underwriting Reporting, Claims Utilization Reviews and setting up new client data
- Organize accurate data from various self-service carrier reporting systems and data warehouses
- Interpret complex data from reports and graphs, distilling key insights and trends to inform stakeholders and facilitate decision-making in a clear and easily understandable format, demonstrating effective communication skills and self-motivation in taking appropriate next steps
- Work with key stakeholders to resolve issues, both internally and externally
- Partner with management team to identify business trends utilizing data and compile analysis reports for clients
- Demonstrate capacity to review team reports, ensuring they adhere to high standards of accuracy, conciseness, and coherency
- Remain accountable to complete tasks and stay organized with minimal oversight
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years’ work experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
