Job Summary:
The Junior Surety Bond Specialist is a client facing role involving a strong knowledge of surety, risk involved on each bond, and the clients’ needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation & Issuance of Bond Forms
- Assist the Surety Bond Specialist with drafting bond language per their instruction.
- Sign, seal, and issue final bonds under the instruction of the Surety Bond Specialist
- Creative analysis to navigate a unique bond request
- Invoicing
- Generate new and renewal invoices for all bonds within the system for assigned accounts
- Guidance
- Possess a basic understanding of the surety bonds involved with a client, the bond’s mechanics, and ability to convey to clients
- Marketing
- Direct marketing to carriers on smaller bonds or pre-established programs
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required; college degree preferred
- State specific license is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
