Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for managing guest relations and maintaining a positive atmosphere in our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, and events.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest check-ins efficiently.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist in managing guest relations to enhance their overall dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for food service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
