Pool Attendant

Under supervision of the Lodge Manager,

Pool Attendants are responsible for the general supervision of the pool and fitness center. Responsible for maintaining the weights and cardiovascular fitness areas to make sure equipment is clean, functioning properly and used according to the rules of the facility. Performs guest safety and recreational work supervising and informing guests of regulations at pool and fitness center as well as providing for guest comfort. Welcomes guests and works to ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable experience. Maintain a clean environment for guests that visit the pool area.

• Maintaining and cleaning fitness and pool equipment.
• Maintaining attendance and chemical records.
• Ensuring rules and regulations are followed.
• Notifying management of an emergency situations
• Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance, and delivering consistent guest customer service, exceeding guest expectations, and providing all other supporting services.
• Knowledge of pool facility and operations
• Knowledgeable of lodge/park facilities and services to answer guest inquiries.
• Addresses guest requests and complaints, tries to resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guests satisfaction.
• Identify and report hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect pool operations and notify supervisors accordingly.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to be able to establish a safe work environment for self and others.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and dry pool deck.
• Uniform required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Pay: $12.00 per hour
