OVERVIEW
Do you love to cook and have experience in a kitchen or deli? Cache County is looking for a part-time Cook to join our Senior Center team! This is a part-time position, working Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The cook will be essential in helping with kitchen sanitation and will have knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will also be able to use recipes to create delicious food for our lunchtime crowd! This could include preparing meals for special diets and assuring adequate portions are served consistent with standards and nutritional needs. All types of commercial kitchen machinery, utensils, and appliances will be utilized to complete tasks efficiently.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED AND two years of experience in an institutional restaurant or related food service experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
