OVERVIEW
Cache County Corporation is looking for a Part-Time Airport Operations Specialist to work at the Logan Airport under the general supervision of the Airport Manager. The successful candidate will generally work up to 20 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Airport Operations Specialist will monitor the day-to-day airside and landside operations, including the airfield, buildings, and other facilities, and personnel operating the airport for compliance with FAA, TSA, and Airport Authority rules and regulations. Maintain contact with airside and landside contractors to ensure coordination with airport operations. Assist with seasonal grounds keeping and maintenance. Respond to airside incidents and emergencies. Utilize airfield monitoring software, including Virtower program and electronic NOTAM issuance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The Airport Operations Specialist will have a high school diploma plus one or more years of hands-on operations experience preferred.
Special Qualifications:
- Must successfully pass a thorough background check. Must have a valid driver's license with no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or reckless driving offenses within the previous five (5) years or no more than two (2) moving violations within the last two (2) years.
