What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Evening Custodian position at Cache County Corp.?
OVERVIEW
Cache County is looking for someone to help keep our Event Center sparkling clean. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, with custodial experience in restrooms, floors, and general cleaning. This is a part-time, non-benefited position, working up to 29.5 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions: Sweeps, buffs, dust, strips, waxes, washes, and polished hard surface floors; cleans walls, door frames, doors, and glass; empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans, disinfects, and sanitizes restroom sinks and bowls; washes windows; vacuums and shampoos carpets and entry rugs and mats; maintains work closets and monitor the availability of supplies. Operates various cleaning equipment such as a power buffer, carpet extraction machine, etc.; mixes chemicals as needed to perform specialized cleaning functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent AND One (1) year of experience performing cleaning duties in a commercial office environment.
Special Qualifications: Must successfully pass a thorough background check and may not have been convicted of a felony; must have a valid driver's license and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or reckless driving offenses within the previous 5 years or no more than 2 moving violations within the previous 2 years. Preference will be given to applicants with custodial experience.
